How to read them
Every row carries a score out of 100, the tier it is ranked inside, its battle record and the row each hero stands in — F front, M middle, B back. Lineups are ranked within their tier, never across it: Current meta (X16+, SP or paid heroes), Mid progression (up to X15, plus developer picks that span eras) and Starter (Season 0–4 heroes every player owns). Each tier counts from #1, so Starter #1 is the best lineup a new account can field.
The bar beside each lineup is its battle record, and it sets the order inside a tier. Each list’s top thirty fight each other round-robin, six hundred battles a matchup from both seats; every other row, in every tier, fights eight fixed reference lineups from across its category. So a row can show a higher score than the one above it — the scorecard finds the lineups and fills each tier, and the battles order them. The bar opens the Combo Simulator with that lineup seated.
A developer pick chip means the game’s own in-game recommendation includes that trio. Those are always shown — at whatever score they honestly earn, which is often mid-table. Nothing here is placed by hand. Read the full scoring contract, or the combat glossary the engine reads the cards with.
